Anticipation opens at Concepto Hudson, March 12, 2016. For this show, I will create an installation entitled High Hopes.

High Hopes is a three dimensional interpretation of Passabet’s “Confetti” paintings. This playful installation captures the moment of anticipation when the confetti is still in the air. The paper is strung on bendable wire, creating the suggestion of movement while solidifying the moment in time. The viewer exists in the celebratory space between the anticipation and the aftermath, where the paper scraps are heaped on the floor.

In other news, some of my paintings were used on the set of Shelter, a film directed by Paul Bettany and starring Jennifer Connelly and Anthony Mackie.
